FAQ’s
Do I need a referral?
If you are a private patient you DO NOT need a referral letter to be treated by our podiatrists. However if you are on an Enhanced Primary Care program you will need a written referral from your GP. Or if you are a veteran you will need a D904 podiatry referral from your GP.
Can I use my private health fund card?
Yes, so please bring your card along and we can process your private health insurance claim on the spot and all you have to pay is the gap. Please note funds have a varied level of cover and you should check with your health fund to see what sort of rebate you are entitled to.
Is podiatry covered by Medicare?
Medicare rebates of $58 are only available to people with an Enhanced Primary Care/Chronic Disease Management plan (EPC/CDM), which only your GP can issue.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your most commonly worn footwear and running shoes. Loose shorts or pants are recommended so we can assess your feet and legs thoroughly. Please remove any nail polish from your toenails. Also, please bring any X-rays, scans and referrals that are relevant to your problem.
